FIFA  u20  WorLd  Cup - New Zealand

Competition Co-ordinator                                                                                                                                                                2015

The opportunity to join the Local Organization Committee responsible for delivering the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand has enabled me to apply my knowledge gained through the football management degree. This role requires a leader to liaise between staff of all competing teams and across varying function areas.  This includes operations, hospitality, catering, transport, accommodation, turf specialists, media and marketing departments, spectator services, local clubs and schools prior, during and post competition.  This responsibility provided opportunity to work with FIFA global representatives to ensure the competition is of a world-class standard.

World Cup Education Resources Assessor                                                                                                                             2015

With the importance of school involvement, I was selected to assess the FIFA U20 World Cup education resources in line with the New Zealand National Curriculum.  This involved reviewing all education programs and activities were inline with national standards and supporting the promotion in primary and intermediate schools nationally.
