2009 -2012 New Zealand Football
2011 - 2012 Coach and Education Advisor - ASB School Football Program
I co-constructed the New Zealand ASB School Football Program –launched nationally across New Zealand in February 2012. This program supports the development of teachers and students alike. Through a holistic approach – general fundamental movement, football technique and elite habits in special designed small sided games are being delivered from grass roots to high performance.
2011 - 2012 Director New Zealand Football National Talent Centre
I directed the New Zealand Football High Performance National Talent Centre for Year 13-16 nationally. Writing and leading the program and assessment criteria, I guided a team of ten high performance coaching staff to develop the next New Zealand Football U17, U20 and senior men and women’s World Cup and Olympic International Teams.
2010 - 2012 Coach Educator
I delivered as part of a team, the Level 2 and 3 New Zealand Football Coaching Course for national coaches. This gave me the opportunity to inspire and develop my coaching peers – to pass on my game understanding through assessment, differentiation and coach development.
2009 - 2012 National Defensive Coach
I have worked alongside New Zealand Women’s National Head Coach and NZ U20 Women’s Football Technical Advisor in their preparation for the 2011 World Cup – Germany, and 2012 Olympics – UK. This provided a deeper understanding of high performance and the detail required to play at an elite level.
2009 – 2012 National Talent Centre Rubric Assessment
I co-constructed the New Zealand Football National Talent Centre rubric assessment for talent identification and national player development. This style of assessment is innovative within football.
2010 – 2011 New Zealand Whole of Football Plan
I co-constructed the New Zealand Football - Whole of Football Plan – The National Football Strategic Plan for development of girls and boys from grass roots to high performance and international selection.
2009 - 2010 Coach and Education Advisor - New Zealand Football World Cup Education Resource Packs
I created the New Zealand Football World Cup Education Pack for 5-9 years and 9-13 to support all Primary and Intermediate School Teachers across New Zealand. This initiative was endorsed by New Zealand Football and Sport New Zealand (Formally SPARC – Sport and Recreation - and delivered in all schools nationally. The pack provided differentiated activities following a broad curriculum for juniors, seniors, intermediate students and teachers.

2010 - 2011 Head Coach Senior Women’s Team
This role provided the opportunity to work with high performing athletes from past and present New Zealand International players. I lead a team of coaching staff following elite playing habits identified by NZF and developed a playing model, vision and philosophy to an international football advanced level.

These roles provided an opportunity to develop and differentiate coaching strategies in line with my personal playing model and grass roots development across a range of ages and abilities.
2008 - 2011 Auckland Secondary School Football Association - New Zealand
2008 - 2011 Head Coach - U15 and 19 Rep Elite
These roles provided the opportunity to co-ordinate and work with a team of senior coaches and develop an elite holistic program. This included technical, tactical and sport science. Links with Christchurch and Waikato Secondary School Football Associations - New Zealand - were also created through game days.
2008 - 2011 Regional Football Representative Co-ordinator
I built links with 1st XI Head Coaches across Greater Auckland - New Zealand and created a philosophy that embraces a player centered approach and coach development. I also created a three year elite strategy plan, to align Secondary School Football with the vision and values of New Zealand Football and local federations.
2006 - 2012 Pinehurst Independent School Football - New Zealand
2006 - 2012 Director of Football (Ages 5-18 Years) and 1st XI (Girls and Boys) Head Coach
This provided the opportunity to develop players from all ages and abilities through and enriched football program. Each level was carefully differentiated according to the characteristics and needs of players. This elite program was designed in conjunction with a ‘Fit Well’ program. I organized the Primary and Intermediate Auckland Zone Day and Mid Bays competitions for nineteen Intermediate and Primary cluster Schools.

During this time, I coached a range of teams from aged 5 - senior men's leagues within schools and local leagues around Birmingham and Darlington, UK.
